What is your topic?

My topic is whether society should raise the legal limit on the drinking age, would it be of therapeutic. Value to the people around us?

 

Why is it important to me?

 I think that my topic is important to me because of the damage that alcohol causes, most people wouldn’t think of this unless it has happened to them in such a way that it would allow them to see it first hand, since I work in the field in human services and drug treatment, I see the aftermath, I see the family’s torn apart from the bitter sweet favor of an alcoholic beverage, for me I have a personal interest in the topic in every aspect. When I am at work I have to council people of the effects of abuse of alcohol. I have to educate them, while I am doing that myself I am learning also, learning how the dysfunctional thinking effects the human. The things I have learned from alcohol and drug addiction is overwhelming.
